If you’re hoping that the UK will sweep the board at this year’s Eurovision then look away now.
It’s almost a running joke, but Britain’s chances of winning Eurovision 2016 are bleak, with bookie William Hill giving us just odds of 20 to one.
Considering there were 27 entrants in last year’s competition – that doesn’t leave us far from the bottom – again.
William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly said,
“Something had to change in the way the UK was selecting its entrants and we think that the very ‘Take That’ sounding track will prove to be very popular with the public”.
Currently Karl William Lund is the 2/1 favourite to be voted in as the UK’s representative for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest after the six acts were announced on Monday. Bianca, is 9/4 with Shine A Light, while Darline is 4/1 with Until Tomorrow.
