Gay rights activist Shane Bitney Crone has confirmed that he is ready dating and ready for love.
Shane Crone became famous in 2013 after his boyfriend at the time Tom Bridegroom died and his YouTube video It Could Happen To You became a heartbreaking viral sensation. The story, which touched the hearts of millions of people around the world, was made into a film, in which Shane Bitney Crone speaks about the cruelty he received from his late boyfriend’s family and the system that failed to recognise Bitney-Crone as a significant partner in Tom Bridegroom’s life.
At the time of his accident, despite the pair being together for more than five years Shane was treated little more than a stranger and was not permitted to see his partner before he died from his injuries.

It was confirmed that Shane is dating American Idol star Rayvon Owen. The pair lock lips at the end of Rayvon’s music video for Can’t Fight It.
The pair originally met in 2013. Writing on Facebook Shane said,
“I walked out the large revolving door of my hotel and bumped into a tall, attractive man with a big, bright smile. He said hello, I said hello, and we went our separate ways,”
“After a few paces I looked back to catch another glimpse of him and saw that he was doing the same. A curious feeling, one I hadn’t felt in over a decade, came over me.”
