Power Pop Duo set to top the charts this Sunday with their collaboration, Scream and Shout.
The pair’s latest track Scream and Shout is currently 5000 copies ahead of X Factor winner, James Arthur‘s single Impossible according to the midweek chart.
If the song stays at the top it will mark Britney’s first number 1 in the United Kingdom since her 2004 track Every Time – while it would mark will.i.am’s second consecutive number one single from his #willpower album.
Meanwhile, despite hitting the number 1 spot on the iTunes chart, David Bowie’s latest offering Where Are We Now? will not make an appearance in this Sunday’s charts, because of the way the track has been sold.
Official Charts Company has said it is “not possible to distinguish album sales from track sales from the retail data received”.
