The New York Gay Men’s Chorus were at Joan Rivers’ funeral singing.
Legedary comedian and actress Joan Rivers, who passed away on Thursday, wrote that at her funeral she wanted Bobby Vinton to pick up her head and sing Mr. Lonely, but she got the New York Gay Men’s Chorus instead.
The chorus sang, That’s Entertainment, Nothing Like a Dame, What a Wonderful World and Hey Big Spender,according to chorus director Peter Criswell.
She also wanted paparazzi and publicists making a scene, well Fifth Avenue was lined with ‘more television crews, live reporters and fans than would gather for most Hollywood premieres’, Cnn reported.
Stars have said their final farewells to Rivers, including, Howard Stern, Sarah Jessica Parker, Donald Trump and Whoopi Goldberg.
Her funeral took place at Manhattan’s Temple Emanu-El.
Rivers had undergone minor elective surgery at the Yorkville Endoscopy Clinic on the 28th August, where she had a cardiac and respiratory arrest. Paramedics then took the comedian to Mount Sinai Hospital where she later died.

There are no criminal investigations under way however the state health department is investigating whether there was any malpractice from staff and doctors at the Yorkville Endoscopy.
