Two laybys nearly opposite each other on the A616 at the Newark end on the road to and from Ollerton. The first layby on the left (Newark to Ollerton side) is slightly higher than the road but no cover to speak of. There is a big grassy section between layby and the road. The second layby on the right (Ollerton to Newark) is slightly lower than the road with a small wooded area to go into, there are also fields behind. The cover is very good during the summer months put poor in the winter. The Ollerton to Newark side is the best side as it provides better cover, the layby is a little rough due to potholes so take care.
Park up and you can go into the little wooded area, it's quite deep at the back. You can also go into the field behind but not recommended during daylight hours as it's very open. Although you get the odd visitor stopping by it's best to prearrange a meet on here.
