Set aside the cringey music video for the album’s lead single ‘I Think You Might Like It’ and you’ll find one of the best holiday albums released in a while, filled with classic, classy and expertly produced Christmas favourites including ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ (with Cliff Richard), ‘I’ll Be Home For Christmas’ (with Barbra Streisand) and a beautiful rendition of ‘Auld Lang Syne’ to boot.

Olivia and John prove that they’ve still got it (after their first outing together in Grease 35 years ago), if not in dance, but absolutely in the singing department.

We forget that John Travolta has a wonderfully warm baritone vocal, which he demonstrates with ease on This Christmas and Olivia’s voice returns with full power and we’re reminded why she’s remained a world-wide treasure for so many years.

All of John Travolta’s and Olivia Newton-John’s income from the album are being split between The Jett Travolta Foundation (for autism) and the Olivia Newton – John Cancer and Wellness Center.

So as you lay the table this Christmas day make sure that Travolivia (see what we did there) is playing in the background, it’s the perfect accompaniment to the festive season especially if you like your Christmas songs with a splash of A-List sparkle.
