Rumours are surfacing that global superstar Sam Smith has split with his boyfriend after a serious of sad faces and on stage clues.
Stay With Me singer Sam Smith only confirmed his relationship to Jonathan Zeizel at the end of last year, but several hints suggest that the pair have split.
According to The Sun, Sam introduced his song, Good Thing, a break up song, saying: “This song is very special for me today, as I’ve actually had to do a very similar thing with someone I’ve been seeing.”

Sam then posted a picture of him looking sad on Instagram and captioned it,
“Had a really sad day today, so thank you Toronto for making me feel so much better.
“Sometimes you just need to lay in bed with a glass of red wine and a football t-shirt and listen to Joni Mitchell. It’s been a sad day. Beautiful show, but sad day x.”
In 2014, Sam Smith was the only artist to sell over 1 million copies of his album in both the UK and the US.
After the show, speaking to the paper, he said that he “hopes to find someone soon” – so is it all over with Jonathan.
