More war stories. This film, set in the Netherlands during the closing months of WWII, tells the story of a young soldier who has a short love affair with a local adolescent boy while stationed in town. The story is moving, and the performances are touching, and believable. The subject matter can be a little tough to handle at times, but the filmmakers handle it well. Another tear-jerker.
