There are fibre supplements on the market which say that they can ensure you really have a good clear out when you go to the toilet. They usually consist of Psyllium husk, chia and flax seeds.
The theory is that the blend acts as a sponge and as it moves through your colon it collects everything in its path – giving you a good, solid (but not hard) stool which means that preparation time is greatly reduced, but you’ll still probably need to douche.
