Previously flying the rainbow flag was seen as a gesture that previous Foreign Sec William Hague encouraged.
The bookmaker makes Hammond banning the rainbow flag an odds-on shot at just 1/3, and offers 9/4 that Hammond does allow the flag to fly at the Foreign Office.
Jamie Loughead, Star Sports spokesman, comments:
“The Foreign Secretary went to great lengths this week to convince the public that the UK is best being a part of a united Europe- but last year refused to join our European neighbours in flying a rainbow flag for Pride. So regrettably, we are offering an odds-on price of just 1/3 that he will refuse to fly the flag at the Foreign Office again this year.”
He continued
”Mr Hammond certainly appears to be more ‘homosceptic’ than he is ‘Eurosceptic’.”
